Babak Azizzadeh, M.D.

Dr. Babak Azizzadeh is a board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and an otolaryngologist in the Division of Otolaryngology / Head and Neck Surgery, Cedars-Sinai Sinus Center and the Head and Neck Cancer Center at Cedars-Sinai’s Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute.

faculty_BrissettAnthony E. Brissett, M.D.

Anthony E. Brissett, M.D., F.A.C.S. is the director of the Baylor Facial Plastic Surgery Center. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology, a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Brissett is an assistant professor in the Bobby R. Alford Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine.  Dr. Brissett graduated magna cum laude from Wayne State University, Detroit, Mich. with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. He received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. He completed residency training in otorhinolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the world-famous Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and was awarded a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Minnesota in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology.

faculty_edEdward W. Chang, M.D.

Dr. Chang is facial plastic surgeon in Santa Rosa, California. Dr. Chang is the former director of Facial Plastic Surgery Education at Columbia University in the City of New York.  Dr. Chang received his medical training at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City, NY.  He completed his surgical and otolaryngology residency training at the New York-Presbyterian Medical Center, which included service at the Columbia and Cornell campus teaching hospitals, Sloan-Kettering Medical Center, and the St.Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City.

Andrew Cohen, M.D.

Andrew T. Cohen, MD, is Division Clinical Chief at Cedars-Sinai’s Center for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is board certified in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Cohen is a member of the American Board of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the California Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Los Angeles Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Her accumulated expertise is in the development of medically supervised skincare regimens for damaged, aging and/or problem skin as well as the creation of key maintenance programs to protect and prolong good skin health.

faculty_FunkEtai Funk, M.D.

Dr. Etai Funk is double board certified. He is a board certified facial plastic surgeon by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and a board certified otolaryngologist – head and neck surgeon by the American Board of Otolaryngology- Head and neck surgery. Dr. Funk is a member in good standing of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, and the American College of Surgeons. He has served on the Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Committee for the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and sat on the Residency Internal Review Committee at Baylor College of Medicine. He holds a clinical associate professor position in the Baylor College of Medicine Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Funk is actively involved and holds numerous positions with Harris County Medical Society. He also serves as a delegate to the Texas Medical Association. In addition to the previously mentioned honors and awards, Dr. Funk has published articles in numerous medical journals, authored various book chapters, and has presented his findings at several national medical conventions.

faculty_GladstoneHayes Gladstone, M.D.

Dr. Hayes Gladstone is Associate Professor and Director of the Division of Dermatologic Surgery at Stanford University. He received his MD at the University of Rochester, completed his surgical internship at the University of California San Francisco, and did three additional years of training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He completed a dermatology residency at the University of Washington and completed a fellowship at UCLA.

Jim Gilmore, M.D.Jim Gilmore, M.D.

Dr. Gilmore is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Otolatyngology – Head and Neck Surgery and the Department of Facial and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.

Dr. Gilmore is triple board certified.  He is a graduate of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas.  His surgery and residency training was accomplished at Methodist Hospital in Dallas, Parkland Memorial Hospital, John Peter Smith Hospital, Children’s Medical Center and Affiliated University of Texas Southwesterm Medical Center Hospitals.  In addition, Dr. Gilmore served as a medical officer in the United States Air Force.

Board-certified in dermatology, Dr. Jones completed his dermatology Residency in 1997 at Columbia University in New York, where he served as Chief Resident. In 1999 he founded Skin Care and Laser Physicians of Beverly Hills where he is the Director. As Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of California at Los Angeles.

John H. Joseph, M.D.

Dr. John H. Joseph is a Facial Plastic Surgeon who has a prominent practice in Beverly Hills, CA and is an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. He specializes in Aesthetic Facial Plastic Surgery, but is also involved in congenital and traumatic facial reconstructive cases.

faculty_alexAlexander Markarian, M.D.

Dr. Alexander Markarian is a board certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and a board certified head and neck surgeon. He did his medical school training at The Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, graduating with top honors. He completed his internship in general surgery and his residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the LAC+USC Medical Center. He then went on to complete a prestigious fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Lasky Clinic in Beverly Hills, with Dr. Frank M. Kamer. Dr. Markarian then returned to USC as an assistant professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and is currently the director of Facial Plastic Surgery.

Vic A. Narurkar, M.D.

Vic A Narurkar MD is a board certified dermatologist with fellowship training in laser, cosmetic and MOHS surgery. He is a PhiBeta Kappa graduate of Brown University and Stanford Medical School, where he completed his residency in dermatology and was selected to be chief resident, followed by a fellowship in MOHS, laser and cosmetic dermatology at the Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Shih is one of the founding members of Faces of Tomorrow. He is chief of the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and serves as clinical attending faculty for both at the Kaiser Oakland Medical Center.  Dr. Shih received is BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois. He went to medical school at the University of Rochester, New York. He continued his education at the University of Southern California where he completed an internship year in general surgery as well as four additional years of specialty training in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery. Dr Shih then went to the University of California, Davis and completed a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive and Otolaryngology.

Douglas M. Sidle, M.D.

Dr. Sidle is Board Certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.  He received his B.A. in biology at the University of Illinois and his M.D. at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine. Dr. Sidle did his surgical residency training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Northwestern University Medical School and completed his specialty training with a fellowship in Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco.  In 2005, Dr. Sidle was appointed as Director of the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Northwestern University.

Dr. Hema Sundaram is a board certified dermatologist, and the founder and director of her cosmetic surgery practice in suburban Washington, D.C. She received awards for her clinical and research work during her training, which includes masters and medical degrees with honors from the University of Cambridge (England), a dermatology residency at the University of Chicago, post-doctoral research in molecular biology, and a post-residency medical staff research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health.

faculty_sykesJonathan M. Sykes, M.D.

Dr. Jonathan M. Sykes is the Director of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at UC Davis Medical Center. He has been a full-time faculty member since 1989, and has performed more than 10,000 procedures. Dr. Sykes has published more than 100 articles, book chapters, and three textbooks on facial plastic surgery. He is internationally recognized as an innovative teacher and lecturer in the latest techniques in minimally invasive endoscopic surgery. With this busy schedule, he still finds travel time to volunteer.

Recognized as an expert in his field, Stanford trained Dr. M. Dean Vistnes is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons. He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the California Society of Plastic Surgeons, and is a member of the prestigious American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the A4M – The American Academy for Anti–Aging Medicine, and a highly respected plastic surgeon in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Deborah Watson, M.D.Deborah Watson, M.D.

Dr. Watson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of California San Diego School of Medicine, Director of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the UCSD Medical Center, and Residency Director for the Division of Head and Neck Surgical Training Program. Dr. Watson received her medical degree from the University of Southern California School of Medicine in 1992. She did her General Surgery and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residencies at the UCLA Medical Center, Los Angeles, California. Following the completion of her residency training, Dr. Watson did a Fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
